That moment when you don’t ask for anything and someone gives you everything. It’s funny how someone can make you whole with a few simple well-placed words. It doesn’t cost anything to be kind…and some people understand that all too well.

My night out started off fairly good and ended with me coming home with a horrible headache and highly aggravated. I was stewing in my own frustration and discomfort…and just like that…he appeared via a phone call. Without knowing how I was feeling, he made me whole again.

Some people know the real value in giving without the expectation of getting anything in return. I was in no place to reciprocate, and he didn’t care. He took care to remind me that true friendship doesn’t look for payment.

I know you’ll read this…so I’d like to thank you for sensing my needs and fulfilling them. You’re always there when no one else is. It’s nice to have that one person whose love and friendship is pure and unconditional.

It’s nice when you at your lowest and your friends get down there with you. My life has become a little bit of a roller coaster and instead of encouraging me to get off, you get on it with me. Thanks for not being filled with clichés, but good earnest conversation and laughter. The kind of stuff that erases darkness by replacing it with plentiful lighthearted moments.
